We learned the full PC system requirements of the upcoming Atomic Heart. We also learned that the game will not support ray tracing at launch on current-gen consoles.
The director of the upcoming Atomic Heart, Robert Bagratuni, gave an interview to Wccftech, in which he discussed the technical aspects of the game. By the way, we learned the full system requirements of the game for PC - so far only the minimum and recommended specs are known. You will find them below.
Bagratuni stressed that the number of frames per second given in parentheses will be the lowest that the player will receive in the most demanding moments of the game (for example, during combat with crowds of enemies). For example, on a GeForce GTX 1650 Atomic Heart will achieve 60 to 100 fps.
The issue of the game's performance on current-gen consoles was also raised. Some time ago we learned that will get more or less 60 frames per second in 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Now we know that there will be different graphics modes on these consoles, but they will not support ray tracing at launch.
Atomic Heart will debut on February 21 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs.
Mundfish, the studio responsible for Atomic Heart is a Russian company based in Cyprus. The team includes programmers and other specialists from different parts of the world.
