Back 4 Blood Without Offline Mode Even When Playing Solo

Back 4 Blood will lack an offline mode, despite the game allowing for solo play with AI partners.

Responding on Twitter to a gamer's question, devs at Turtle Rock announced that Back 4 Blood will require an internet connection to play. The offline option will not even appear during solo play, where the remaining team members will be controlled by AI.

Developers are considering solutions to remove this requirement, but if they are introduced, it will be some time after the release. However, on release day there will be no option to play offline.

Back 4 Bloodis coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The release will take place on October 12 this year. The game will be available in Game Pass from day one.

We'll be able to check out the game thanks to two betas. The first will take place from August 5-9 and people with pre-orders will take part in it. Open tests will start on August 12 and will last 4 days.
