Sony has ensured that the vast majority of games currently available on the PS4 will also be playable on the next-generation console, PlayStation 5, thanks to backward compatibility.

Sony has officially announced that the backwards compatibility of its next gen console - the PlayStation 5 - is likely to support the vast majority of titles currently available on PS4. This means that owners of the new device will be able to launch nearly four thousand already available Sony games.
