What Does It Take to Play Baldur's Gate 3 in 4K? Requirements Revealed
What kind of hardware do you need to enjoy Baldur's Gate 3 in the highest quality? Will it be possible to download it before the official release? These and many other questions were answered by developers from Larian Studios.

On the last stretch before the release of the full version of Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios revealed some details about the upcoming RPG. The extensive post on Steam discusses, among other things. Illithid abilities and their impact on our party. In addition the developers shared essential information regarding the game's technical side.
- The post confirmed that the full version of the game will require about 122 GB of disk space (SSD is recommended). Some players who plan to start playing on the day of release may be disappointed by the fact that it will not be possible to preload the game failes
- The developers once again stressed that in the full version of the game it will not be possible to continue gameplay from early access.
- A pleasant surprise, on the other hand, is the cross-save feature, which will make it possible to transfer saved game states from the PC version to the PlayStation 5 console and vice versa (of course, ownership of both versions of the game will be required in this case).
- Baldur's Gate 3 will be playable in 4K resolution and on ultrawide monitors. The developers recommend using GeForce RTX 4080/4090 GPU or AMD equivalents in this case. Slightly weaker PCs will manage 4K thanks to the DLSS technology.
- Those who choose 1440p quality at 60 fps, will need to have at least a GeForce RTX 3060.

Full version of Baldur's Gate 3 on PC will be released on August 3 at 5 p.m. CET. On PlayStation 5 we'll play on September 6 (unless we pay extra for earlier access - three days to be exact).
