Bannerlord - Birth and Death Setting and How to Disable It

You are starting your adventure with Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord and do not want your character to age. Here you will learn how to disable the Birth and Death option.

The full version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has recently debuted. This makes it the perfect time to revisit the title. Below you will find information on the Birth and Death option.

How to disable the Birth and Death option in Bannerlord?

Disabling the Birth and Death option in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is trivially easy. All you need to do is turn this feature off during character creation. For this to be possible, however, you must have the "Birth and Death options" module ticked in the game launcher's mods tab.

What is the Birth and Death option in Bannerlord?

Birth and Death, as the name suggests, describes whether a character is able to reproduce. If this option is enabled, then our character can have children. At the same time, however, they will age and eventually die. You, on the other hand, must take control of their offspring.

If, on the other hand, you choose to disable this option, the character you create will not age. However, they will also lose the ability to have children.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a combination of strategy and RPG. During the game you will find yourself in one of the local powers competing for the land of Calradia. It is a period of interregnum, causing chaos. Our task is to bring the situation under control and restore stability in the country.
