Battlefield Rival Keeps Growing; Ton of Novelties in BattleBit Remastered
The highly rated shooter BattleBit Remastered has received patch number 2.0.0. The game has received changes to the healing system, as well as new items and improvements to the maps.
BattleBit Remastered is a network shooter maintained in low poly style, which may be of interest primarily to Battlefield fans. The developers of this highly rated game are trying to retain players and attract new ones through regularly released updates. Recently BattleBit received a major patch numbered 2.0.0, which introduced many changes to improve the gameplay.
Battlebit Remastered - changes and additions in update 2.0.0
We have listed the most important changes below.
- Self-healing with a bandage now restores 40 health points. This applies to all classes, but only medics can heal others.
- The District map has been reworked, and the Wine Paradise map has received a redesign and support for the CONQ 254p game mode.
- The District and Sandy Sunset maps now support Capture The Flag mode (which was added to the game in update 1.9.3).
- The progression system has been changed - after level 15, gaining experience will be easier.
- A new vehicle has been added: RCB90 assault boat.
- Now when players return to base to repair the vehicle, the driver will also be healed. This will prevent players from leaving the vehicle (preventing potential theft).
- A new item has been added, that can be placed in the game world: barbed wire. It will slow down enemies.
- Players can no longer place mines underwater.
- The automatic unit lock has been removed.
- The balance of weapons and specific classes has been improved.
- Improvements have been made to the community server API.

Update 2.0.0 also fixes a number of bugs, for example, weapon extensions no longer affect the player's movement speed, and people inside a vehicle will no longer see the blood screen. The full list of changes and new features can be found here.
BattleBit Remastered was released in early access on Steam on June 15. Since then, the game has received more than 68,000 reviews and as much as 90% of them are positive. In less than four weeks since its debut, the game has sold 3 million copies.
So far the game can only be purchased on Steam, but the developers do not rule out console releases in the future. BattleBit Remastered is expected to spend roughly two years in early access.
