Battlefield 2042 Coming to Game Pass, Microsoft Store Suggests

Microsoft Store's website suggests that Battlefield 2042 will soon join the games available on Game Pass.

Few days ago we wrote that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will soon include FIFA 22. Now it seems that it will also include Battlefield 2042 on Xbox Series X and S consoles.

The first to write about this was XGP.pl [in Polish]. Its editors noted that BF2042's tab in Microsoft Store now features Game Pass logo, suggesting the imminent addition of the game to this subscription offer.

It should be added that this does not prejudge the matter yet. It could be a mistake. For example, such a logo appeared earlier on Resident Evil Village and after some time it was removed, and the game did not make it to Game Pass. Nevertheless, in most cases, the appearance of this graphic in the store heralds the imminent announcement of the game's appearance in subscription.

Addition of Battlefield 2042 to Game Pass could be very beneficial for the game itself. Because it turned out to be a flop and lost most of its players in no time. The recently released big patch 4.0 has slightly improved the situation but the activity results on Steam are still very poor - yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, only 3545 people were playing the title.

The situation was similar in the case of Marvel's Avengers. For this game joining the Game Pass turned out to be a big success - the game quickly rose to the top ten most popular games in this service. The developers of Battlefield 2042 can therefore hope to repeat this feat.
