Battlefield 5 Gets a New Map - Marita

The FPS Battlefield V received an update that added a new map called Marita to the game, and also introduced two skins of elite soldiers to the in-game store.

New map in BFV.

DICE informed that their Second World War shooter - Battlefield V - received the 1.22 update. The patch adds a new map to the game, under the name of Marita (available for free). In addition, two skins of elite soldiers - Ilse and Kingsley - appeared in the shop inside the game. Patch does not fix any bugs nor does it make any changes in the balance of the game.

The developers have also decided to activate a playlist where we play only in the new location - the rotation includes one Conquest and two Breakthrough rounds (attack/defense). Under normal conditions the map will be part of the rotation in the Conquest (after Arras), Breakthrough (after Devastation) and Team Deathmatch (after Al Sudan) modes. On August 8 we will receive another "Marita-only" playlist - this time prepared for 32-player modes (will include Domination, Frontlines and Team Deathmatch).

It is worth noting that the update was introduced "live" - it did not require shutting down the servers. Players just need to turn on or restart the game and download the patch.

Battlefield V debuted on November 20, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One PC and consoles.
