The Steam fishing festival has kicked off. It brought the release of a new gem with this theme in the form of Cast n Chill, as well as discounts on older hits in this category, such as Dredge and Dave the Diver.

Yesterday, Steam launched the Fishing Festival, with discounts on a bunch of fishing games and some other titles that include fishing as part of the gameplay. The fun will end on June 23 at 10:00 am PT.

The festival didn't limit itself to discounts. Yesterday, the game Cast n Chill also was released on Steam.This is a relaxing combination of clicker and simulation, made in a lovely pixel art style.

The game can be purchased for $11.99 and this is a discounted price, reduced by 20% for the launch. The offer expires on June 30th.

Cast n Chill has been received extremely warmly - on Steam, 95% of reviews praise this title, which the platform categorizes as a "very positive" reception of the game. The project is also delivering good results in terms of activity. Since the premiere, they have been steadily growing, and while writing this article, the title set a new record with 3704 players playing simultaneously.
