Indie Hit Braid to Get a Rich Special Edition

Braid is an acclaimed indie game, which is characterized by a specific graphic design reminiscent of watercolor paintings, an interesting story, puzzles and very atmospheric locations. Fans of Jonathan Blow's work can rub their hands in glee, because soon the market will see Braid Anniversary Edition - a full-fledged remaster introducing a lot of new features.

Braid Anniversary Edition has been announced

One of the most important features of Braid Anniversary Edition are new visuals, recreated from scratch and hand-painted. In the work on it participated David Hellman, the original creator of the graphics from the 2008 version. This, of course, is not the end of the changes. Also worth mentioning are:

1. developer's commentaries to be listened to during gameplay - the developers recorded more than 60 hours of them, and more than 15 hours ended up in the game. According to Jonathan Blow, this is the most ambitious element introduced in the game.
2. Bonus content, including brand new puzzles;
3. revised and remixed audio, which Martin Stig Andersen and Hans Christian Kock worked on. You may have heard their work in works such as Limbo, Inside or Control;
4. a gallery where you can admire the progress of the artwork.

Special edition of Braid will also offer the ability to switch to the old version.

Braid Anniversary Edition will debut on April 30 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox consoles and iOS and Android for Netflix subscribers.. Mac and Linux users will have to wait a little longer for the release (details are unknown).

The original Braid was released on August 6, 2008 for Xbox 360, April 10, 2009 for PC and on November 12, 2009 for PlayStation 3.. The game has an excellent average rating of 93/100 on Metacritic and 93% positive reviews on Steam.
