Breaking Bezos - Elon Musk Criticizes Amazon's Monopoly

Elon Musk thinks it's time to end the empire created by Jeff Bezos and break his monopolistic position.

The founder of SpaceX and Tesla, among others, is known for his innovative ideas, which most often bring him publicity and quite good money. Elon Musk is also characterized by the fact that he speaks out in social media on various, often quite controversial topics (such as when he said the'll opening his factories despite restrictions). This time he defended Alex Berenson, a former New York Times journalist, who wanted to publish his book Unreported Truths About COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1: Introduction and Death Counts and Estimates, which was supposed to reveal unknown data on the course of the coronavirus pandemic, especially on the subject of "lockdowns" and future forecasts. However, he was confronted with alleged censorship by Amazon, which replied in an email that "the book does not comply with the company's guidelines and will not be offered for sale". Outraged by this fact, Musk called Jeff Bezos's company decision crazy:

Or is it just marketing?

After Musk's intervention, Amazon changed its decision and Berenson's book was allowed to be sold. The official line is that the unknown mistake that caused the book to be suspended was corrected; this was not related to what the owner of Tesla said. The question remains, Did the founder of SpaceX intervened for purely altruistic reasons? It is no secret that Jeff Bezos is the owner of Blue Origin, which is a competitor to Musk's own space project, and that he has been sceptical about SpaceX's plans to conquer Mars in the past. The affeir with Berenson's book will certainly not benefit Amazon and its boss (and, consequently, his space company), and Musk may use this in the competition between the companies.
