Call of Duty Cold War Sports Best Digital Debut in the Series

Activision announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War broke the franchise's record for digital sales on day one.

Last Friday, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, this year's installment of the popular FPS series by Activision, debuted on the market. We are still waiting for exact sales results, but we can already consider the game's launch as successful. The publisher boasted that on the first day the title was more popular in digital distribution than any previous installment of the franchise. Unfortunately, no detailed numbers were shared.

As a reminder, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War launched on November 13, on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4. On the same day the game was also released on PS5 in countries where the console is already available.

The game was warmly received and collected good reviews. The game was also appreciated by our editor, who gave it 8.5/10.
