SnowRunner Season 2 Launches With New Maps and Vehicles

Developers from Saber Interactive informed that the second season of support - Explore & Expand - began today in the off-road simulator SnowRunner. Here is a summary of new content.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. SnowRunner season 2, titled Explore & Expand launched today;
  2. A lot of new content has appeared in the game - maps, missions, vehicles and mechanics;
  3. Most of the new content is only available to season pass owners, but the developers have also taken care of some free gifts for all players.

Today, off-road truck simulator SnowRunner developed by Saber Interactive, has began its second season of support, titled Explore & Expand. As a result, we have received a lot of new content, including new game mechanics, maps and vehicles. Below you will find a trailer summarizing the new features.

What exactly do we get? First of all, SnowRunner has two new maps, located in the Yukon territory of Canada - Flooded Foothills and Big Salmon Peak. Both offer an area of 4 km2, which means that the game world has grown by as much as 50% since launch. The DLC also includes three new vehicles: CAT TH357D AG (small, highly mobile telehandler), KRS 58 "Bandit". (8x8 truck with a crane mounted behind the driver's cab) and CAT 770G (the largest car ever in the series).

Yukon wil offer a completely new task to build an ore processing plant in an exceptionally wild and toublesome location. This will require us to collect the necessary raw materials (hence the selection of vehicles added to the game), as well as to use another novelty - cargo creation mechanics.

The aforementioned content is paid (available for season pass owners), but we will also get some free items. These include new options to customize the appearance of the vehicles, new Trials and Extreme Cargo missions in Taymyr and Alaska. Also the enticipated feature enabling us to transport vehicles on a trailer will appear in the game.
