Many live service games have surprisingly short lifespan recently. It is a huge challenge to not only create a good title that will attract a large number of players, but it’s even harder to keep them coming back for more content and engage with the production. Probably everyone heard about Concord fiasco or Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League failure, but there are still years old live services that continue to draw in many fans. Destiny 2 shows that perfectly, as the new episode, Heresy, has been released, bringing back players. Probably a good portion of them is with the Destiny series for a long time, as their hearts started racing when they heard rumors about No Land Beyond making a comeback. Is it really though? No Land Beyond in D2 Heresy explained
We all know the feeling when we are reunited with a good, old friend after a long time. Such a sentiment is given to No Land Beyond, a sniper rifle from the times of The Dark Below expansion of the first Destiny. Nothing was officially confirmed, but according to BungieLeaks account on X, it can be available in D2 at some point. Is it accessible right now, though? The answer is no.
It doesn’t mean, however, that it will not be obtainable sometime in the future. If we are to believe the leaks, the data for this weapon is already in the game, featuring the whole lore tab. This lets us think, or at least hope, that the sniper rifle might become available during the ongoing Heresy episode. This can take a while, as the season pass timeline allows us to estimate that the next event will begin in July, making the current one quite lengthy.
