At BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft Classic will get its own version of the Cataclysm DLC next year.
BlizzCon 2023, a convention held for fans of Blizzard Entertainment's games, kicked off yesterday. The highlight of this year's event was the announcement of as many as three expansions for World of Warcraft. However, the devs also did not forget about WoW Classic, announcing another expansion for this retro version of the hit MMORPG.
WoW Classic players won't have to wait until next year for new attractions. Also announced at BlizzCon was the so-called Season of Discovery. The event will kick off on November 30 and will enable us to, among other things, gain class-changing abilities.
The initial progression limit for this event will be set at level 25, and once we reach it, we'll be able to play in a special endgame mode that will include, among other things, a 10-player raid called Blackfathom Deeps with changed bosses, mechanics and rewards. Soon after, the maximum level will be raised, bringing more new endgame attractions.
