In this article you will learn how to get these creatures and more.

What are Cattle animals in Core Keeper

Core Keeper added 3 new Cattle animals. Each of them varies slightly and produces different materials.

  1. Moonlin can be found in the Meadow biome. This Cattle may be fed with any farmable plant and produces Meadow Milk,
  2. Bambuck also naturally spawns in the Meadow and can be fed with any farmable plant as well. Bambuck produces Wool,
  3. Strolly Poly is a Cattle that naturally lives in the Forgotten Ruins and Desert of Beginnings. It eats any critters but glowbugs and produces Strolly Poly Plate.

Taking into account that Cattle is a new animal type in the game, there are several information that you can find useful:

  1. All of the Cattle can be fed by the player directly or by using Feeding Tray.
  2. Be careful with these creatures as many players report that they don’t respawn after being killed.
  3. Cattle, which are found in new biomes, can be also found in older worlds, from before the patch.

How to get Cattle in Core Keeper

In order to get any of the Cattle animals, you have to look for them first in the biomes that they spawn in. After you have successfully located the creatures that you would like to bring to your base, you have to hold the food that the Cattle can feed on. Below you can find several tips to help you on the way:

  1. Don’t let the animal get too close as they will eat the treat. To be sure prepare more food for the journey.
  2. To make this task easier you can try using conveyors.
  3. Some players have also found that you can use your pet to help you out. By placing it behind the cattle and moving forward, the pet will push the animal towards you.
  4. Another method to help yourself out would be to build walls alongside the path to make it easier to guide the cattle.
