CDPR celebrates 11 years of The Witcher series with a bunch of fun facts

11 years have passed since the first Witcher game hit the shelves. Now there are 11 fun facts and easter eggs to show you how the series evolved, brought to you by CD Projekt RED itself.

Them witchers grow up so fast…

11 years have passed since the debut of the first The Witcher game back in 2007, and you know what? On the series’ road to becoming the industry’s best RPG ever, things were changing constantly and rapidly. Below, for instance, you can see what Tirss Merigold outfit in The Witcher 3 could have looked like – and how The Witcher 2 influenced the heroine’s appearance:

This piece of concept art is one of 11 fun-facts slash easter-eggs CD Projekt RED stashed to celebrate the Witcher series’ 11th birthday. Speaking of things hidden, there is a ghost ship sailing across the dark waters surrounding Skellige Isles every day. Spooky alert:

More interesting facts are yet to come, so keep an eye out on The Witcher Twitter account. Who knows, maybe the last in the series will tell us a little something about the release date for Cyberpunk 2077? For now, though, bear with Thronebreaker – The Wticher Tales are about to launch, and will debut on October 23.
