Chivalry 2 Party Size and How to Invite Friends

Chivalry 2 is a game created for playing with friends. You will learn how many of them you can invite to play together and whether the game offers cross-play.

Chivalry 2 is a massively entertaining game that lets you take part in impressive medieval battles between 64 players. Such a large number means that it's a good idea to play together with a group of friends.

The developers have of course provided such an option, and Chivalry 2 enables you to fight side by side with our friends. But how many can you actually invite to such a game?

Maximum party size in Chivalry 2

Chivalry 2 will enable you to create a party of up to four people. You can invite your friends to a joint game from the game's menu. In its bottom left corner you will find the "Invite Party Members" button.

Unfortunately trying to play together with a larger number of people causes problems. There is no option for joining parties in the game.

However, you can create several parties and manually search for a suitable match through the server search engine. This way you can join the same game together in a group larger than four people.

Party creation and cross-play

One of the important features of Chivalry 2 is the fact that the game supports cross-play. By default, it runs all the time and the game will regularly drop you into servers full of users from different platforms.

The problem arises when you want to join forces with friends who have different hardware on the same team. The game does not offer such an option.

You can only invite players from the platform you are using at the time to join your party. For example, PC players can invite only other PC users.

However, this limitation can be circumvented. Both console and PC players can use the same server browser.

So you can search together with your friends for a specific server that interests you, join it and meet on the spot. Unfortunately this is currently the only way to play together in cross-play.
