Next-gen MMORPG Chrono Odyssey Looks Fabulous; Gameplay Trailer Released

A lovely gameplay trailer for Chrono Odyssey, an impressively promising MMORPG, has hit the web.

Korean studio NPixel has released a new trailer for Chrono Odyssey, an upcoming fantasy MMORPG. This is the first trailer of this game that shows gameplay footage.

The trailer looks impressive, especially in terms of graphics. It is quite possible that on the day of its release it will be the prettiest game in its genre.

  1. Chrono Odyssey is headed for PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
  2. The PC version will be available on Steam.
  3. The developers are not ready to give an exact release date. We only know that it is scheduled for this year.
  4. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.

Giving up on weaker platforms

It is worth noting that when the gamewas first revealed a few years ago, it was also supposed to come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and iOS and Android mobile devices. All indications are that the developers abandoned plans to develop a version for weaker platforms and focused only on the most powerful devices. Given what the new trailer shows, this decision is easy to understand.

  1. Chrono Odyssey will offer an arcade combat system modeled on action games, in which we will be able to use both a variety of weapons and numerous combat spells..
  2. In keeping with the title, time manipulation abilities will play an important role in the gameplay and story alike.
  3. During the adventures we will, among other things, stop and reverse time, as well as explore alternate realities.

In addition to choosing a class, players will be able to join one of several factions. They will compete for influence and resources, but the game will focus on PvE gameplay, where users are expected to fight AI-controlled monsters - both in missions designed for a single hero or a small party, as well as in large raids.
