Relic Entertainment studio is currently working on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition, but instead of just waiting for this release, fans are hard at work developing mods for the original. This makes more sense since the remaster will be compatible with old modifications. The latest example of modder activity is the new version of the major Redux Mod project for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm.
We have been waiting a long time for this update—the previous version was released 13 months ago. The new version, labeled 1.38, brings many new features.

For those who aren’t familiar with Redux Mod let us explain what makes it so special. The project serves as an unofficial remaster. It enhances textures, improves models and maps, and refreshes sound effects. The interface has also been modernized (including adjustments for 1920x1080 resolution and higher). Moreover, icons have been improved, squad sizes have been increased by 50%, and the maximum camera zoom-out distance has been expanded.
