Conan Exiles Magic - Beginner's Guide

Conan Exiles has received an update that introduces magic, in addition to standard fixes. Spells give characters new abilities, but many beginning players do not know how to enter the path of a wizard. From this guide you will learn how to use magic in the game.

The first step - Shaleback Hollow

To enter the path of a mage, at first you need to go to a cave named Shaleback Hollow. The easiest way to find it will be on the map in the E5 region. Inside, all you need to do is find the book, which is located on a stone table. The table itself, in turn, is located at the end of the cave.

Spellcasting basics

At the beginning we have access to only two spells.

After interacting with the book, you will find a wand, a magic tome and pouches in your inventory. After equipping the wand and using it, two levitating stones will appear in front of the character, each containing one spell. Just hover over one of them with the cursor to find out what spell it hides. It is worth noting at this point that the spell consumes a pouch, and we have only five of these at the beginning. They can be crafted using the alchemy table. To cancel the casting of the spell, just click the right mouse button.

To increase the arsenal of spells, you need to:

1. Build a Thaumaturgy Bench, for the creation of which you will need a Construction Hammer;
2. Using it, combine the tome with a magic scroll and some minor items;
3. Magic scrolls can be found dropped by wizards, who are most easily found around The Summoning Place.
