Cuphead DLC Celebrates Fully Deserved Success

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is selling like hotcakes. The developer's hard work has been recognized by the players.

Studio MDHR has reasons to be pleased. The team boasted, that sales of the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC have exceeded one million copies.

This impressive result was achieved in less than two weeks after release, as the DLC debuted on June 30, this year. The DLC was released on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Thanks to backward compatibility, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners can also play it. It is a non-standalone expansion, so you need the full version of Cuphead.

On this occasion, the developers have organized a contest in which you can win a Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. To participate, you need to do three things:

  1. Follow the studio's Twitter account.
  2. Share the tweet with sales results.
  3. Respond to the developers' post on Twitter, posting the word "Cuphead" and your preferred console in the message.

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course turned out to be not only a commercial success, but was also very warmly received by the trade media and gamers. The game collects excellent ratings (the PC version has an average score of 88% on Metacritic), and on Steam as many as 96% of user reviews praise the expansion, which is categorized as an "overwhelmingly positive" reception.

We've been waiting for a long time, so the hopes for this release were high as well. As you can see, the developers lived up to these expectations, and the players rewarded them.
