What is Broken Relic used for?

Initially, Broken Relic will not offer you any bonuses. It gives the impression of a useless item, the purchase of which is a waste of money.

However, it can be transformed into a talisman, which will guarantee you really powerful bonuses. This requires considerable skill and knowledge of the hidden content present in the DLC. Instructions on how to use Broken Relic can be found in the next section.

At this stage the item makes you start each level with only 1 HP. In addition, you will not be able to choose the weapon you use on your own.

The moment you start shooting the type of bullets will be randomly selected. So this can make battles much more difficult, as you never know what will hit your opponent this time.

However, you will receive a couple of bonuses from the item. Several effective parries will translate into HP regeneration. Every eighth dash will activate the Smoke Bomb effect, and every eighth parry will involve the Whetstone effect.

In addition, every boss defeated with Cursed Relic will improve its stats. The favorable effects will become stronger and stronger, and over time the item will also offer you a bonus in the form of faster Super Meter recharging.

So you should engage in more clashes, and the talisman will become more and more powerful. Eventually, in turn, it will transform into Divine Relic. For this, however, you need to accumulate 16 points, which you will earn during bosses battle (only when fighting on regular or expert difficulty level).

Individual opponents guarantee the following numbers of points: bosses from Inkwell Isle 1 (2 points), Inkwell Isle 2 (2.5), Inkwell Isle 3 (3), Inkwell Isle 4 (3), King Dice and his subordinates (1), The Devil and Chef Saltbaker (4).

At the same time, it will provide you with very favorable bonuses. Each jump will activate the Smoke Bomb effect, and each parry will be associated with the Whetstone effect. The regeneration of Super Meter and HP skills will also be significantly faster.
