Cyberpunk 2077 for Steam Review - Unusual Offer of Night City Devs

A new form of marketing has arrived - the devs of the small Night City encourage users to review their game on Steam, in return for a copy of Cyberpunk 2077. According to the announcements, the devs of the 100 most interesting opinions will receive copies of the game from CD Projekt RED.

Gameplay in Night City will only offer you the opportunity to explore two locations... but you can win Cyberpunk 2077.

If the original release date had been kept, Cyberpunk 2077 would have seen the light of day yesterday. However, the title has been delayed and is scheduled to be released on September 17, this year. Due to this situation, the debuting developer Valentine Studios decided to launch an interesting marketing campaign. It's game - Night City - clearly inspired by the title from CD Projekt RED, went on sale on April 16. Additionally, the developers promise to distribute 100 copies of Cyberpunk 2077 among the buyers of their game.

According to what we can read on the Night City's game card, the devs plan to give the game from CD Projekt RED to the authors of 100 most interesting reviews of their product. The criteria for selecting the best works have not been specified. However, it is known that only reviews in English will be considered, and the authors of the first 10 flattering reviews will have a 90% chance to win a copy of the game. If you are interested in taking part in the competition, you can buy Night City on Steam.

At this point, the action does not seem to bring the intended effect. A day after launch there are only 5 user reviews on Night City's card, 3 of which are positive. However, the final effect of the campaign will be known only after time.
