Days Gone Wins the Hearts and Wallets of Steam Users

Last week's debut of Days Gone on PC turned out to be a big success. The game took the first place on the Steam bestseller list and met with a very positive reception among the users.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Excellent debut of Days Gone;
  2. High sales of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village;
  3. Thanks to attractive deals Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2 return to Top 10;
  4. Increased interest in Biomutant preorders.

As every Monday, Valve released its weekly list of the biggest (by revenue) Steam bestsellers. The sales leader turned out to be the debuting PC edition of Days Gone, a port of the popular PlayStation 4 title.

The game not only sells like hot cakes, but also met with a warm reception. As many as 91% of the more than 4200 user reviews are positive, which is categorized as "very positive" reception of the game. At the hottest moment of the past weekend 27,450 people played Days Gone on Steam at the same time. For a game that debuted on consoles two years ago, this is an impressive result.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village continue to sell very well, taking second and fourth place respectively. In addition, attractive deals enabled Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Red Dead Redemption 2 to return to the top ten.

It is also worth noting the excellent preorder figures of Biomutant. In the previous ranking, tha game took ninth place, while last week it up to spot number three. It bodes very well for the future. As you may rememberm the game will be released tomorrow.
