We have just witnessed a rather strange collaboration. Developers of Dead by Daylight have released a teaser of an upcoming DLC (available below). It shows that the popular online horror game will involve an actual character, specifically actor Nicolas Cage.

This situation is quite unusual, because until now we have at most received characters licensed from popular brands. In this way the game received, among others, Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams (chapter of Ash vs Evil Dead). Thus, this is the first time that an actual person is heading to the title.
According to the announcement, details about the DLC will be received on July 5. The release itself, on the other hand, may take place shortly thereafter. According to reliable leaks from DBDLeaks, it is this month that a chapter containing only the survivor will be released (it is on this side of the barricade that Nicolas Cage will most likely stand on).
Leaks on upcoming content
DBDLeaks has published a number of information about the content that is expected to appear in Dead by Daylight. First up here is the schedule for the game's eighth year of development. It shows that in a month we will receive the DLC titled End Transmission, in which we will find a new killer, The Singularity, survivor Gabriel Soma and a map. The whole thing is to be heavily based in science fiction themes.
In addition, the following are also expected to be heading to the title:
- cosmetic collections inspired by the bands Slipknot and Iron Maiden;
- a set of skins developed in collaboration with Ikumi Nakamura, a Japanese developer from Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within, Ghostwire: Tokyo).
Of course, the information presented above is not official. However, this does not change the fact that DBD Leaks has repeatedly provided true information about the title. Even the teaser with Nicolas Cage was available on their server on Discord about 1.5 hours before its official presentation.
