Dead Island 2 Gets Release Date, but Trailer Fails to Impress

gamescom 2022 Opening Light Live concluded with a gameplay trailer of Dead Island 2. We also learned the exact release date of this game, for which fans have been waiting almost a decade.

At least a dozen noteworthy games were unveiled during gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live, which lasted two hours, but the biggest announcement was held up at the end of the show. It turned out to be a trailer and gameplay trailer of Dead Island 2 - a highly anticipated first-person action game, in which we will fight zombies in a post-apocalyptic world. You can see the videos below.

At first glance, it doesn't look bad. Unfortunately, it's also hard to wring out even a few words of admiration - it doesn't resemble anything fresh, let alone a game for which fans of the first game have been waiting for for almost eleven years.

And how much longer will they wait? A few months - because we learned that Dead Island 2 will be released on February 3, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S.
