We finally lived to see the release day of Dead Space Remake. All signs point to it being the first real hit of 2023.
Today marks the debut of the new Dead Space, a remake of the iconic 2008 sci-fi horror game.
The web has already seen many reviews and most of them are very positive. On OpenCritic the game has an average rating of 90%. The remake also delighted our editor, who gave it a rating of 9.5/10.
New Dead Space is praised for its excellent execution while maintaining the unique character of the original. Reviewers also liked very the numerous changes in the campaign and gameplay, which make the fun noticeably better.
Of course, when you first start the game, what strikes the eye the most is the improved visuals. You can see how big the changes have been in this regard by watching the video published on the ElAnalistaDeBits channel, posted below, which offers a detailed comparison between the remake and the 2008 original.
Recall that on consoles the game will offer two graphic modes - Quality (3840x2160 resolution plus ray tracing at 30 frames per second) and Performance (2560x1440 without ray tracing, but with 60 frames per second).
On the other hand, if you intend to purchase the PC version, it's worth familiarizing yourself with the system requirements, especially since the devs significantly increased them in terms of RAM at the last moment.
