Death Stranding: Director's Cut Has Drones and Catapults

An extensive video has been published showing off the new features and changes offered by Death Stranding: Director's Cut, the revamped version of Hideo Kojima's latest game.

At the end of the GamesCom Opening Night Live 2021 event, extensive video footage from Death Stranding: Director's Cut, the refreshed and expanded version of the popular 2019 action game, was shown.

The video is quite a treat for fans of Hideo Kojima's work. It lasts almost nine minutes and gives a good idea of what the new version of the game will offer. We can see, among other things, new gadgets that facilitate travel, the capabilities of the Buddy Bot robot accompanying us on expeditions, and a catapult capable of firing packages over long distances.

The video also gives a glimpse of the new weaponry and the shooting range where we'll be honing our skills and competing against other players in an online leaderboard. The gamers will also have the opportunity to replay boss battles. There will also be fresh delivery missions

Death Stranding: Director's Cut is coming only to PlayStation 5 and is scheduled for release on September 24, this year.
