Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is an auto-shooter game with rougelike elements, in which you can kill hordes of enemies, just like in Vampire Survivors. To exterminate them, players can use many weapons, which level up over time. This gives you access to the overclock mechanic, which makes your guns even stronger. But what happens if you choose the Salvage option instead? You will find it out in our guide!

Deep Rock Galactic (DRG) Survivor – Salvage Explained

Once the overclock mechanic is unlocked, players can choose one of two upgrades or click the Salvage option. However, many are afraid to do this for fear that they will receive nothing of value. There is, however, no reason to worry.

When someone chooses the Salvage option, they will receive a random purple (epic) upgrade for that weapon. It is true that you never know what kind of enhancement you may get, although it is a very good option to choose when you find that the buffs from Overclocking are unsatisfactory and do not meet your needs.

Deep Rock Galactic (DRG) Survivor – Overclock Explained

Overclock is a mechanic that players unlock when their weapons reach level 6, 12 or 18. It allows players to choose one of two upgrades that go well with it. Enhancements usually differ from each other, so think carefully about which one fits your current playstyle better, as this option cannot be undone.
