Players will no longer have to struggle with getting higher Guardian Ranks in Destiny 2. Expert Conquest is back.
You probably know that players can earn progressively higher Guardian ranks in Destiny 2. However, in order to do so, you need to perform various activities or quests (speaking of which, maybe you need some help with Graviton through the ages or Dark Academia?). One of them is Expert Conquest, a task that is required to get the sixth rank. The snag is that for the past few days it was disabled, making it impossible for players to advance. Fortunately, this problem has now been resolved.
There is a system of ranks in Destiny 2, where the one at the topt is 11. Unlocking higher and higher ranks is for many a badge of honor and a proof of their involvement. It’s mostly about prestige, as while initially players earn small perks, reaching the highest rank is not as rewarding as it may seem. Nevertheless, many people still want to get the Paragon title.
The problem is that lately, players have not been able to come even a little bit closer to achieving this goal. Mainly because for the past few days, Expert Conquest was disabled. This was a big problem for those who wanted to advance their Guardian rank to level 6, since completing this quest is one of the requirements to unlock it.
Fortunately, with the new 9.0.0.3 update and the weekly Tuesday reset, players report that Expert Conquest is back, and it is possible to reach rank 6. If you don't know where to find this activity, go to the Open Portal tab, then click on Seasonal Hub. On the left side, you will find the Play Now option. Selecting it will open a menu with selectable Expert Conquest missions.
In addition to bringing back this mode, 9.0.0.3 update also introduced a number of other fixes. The main focus was on removing some bugs, such as the wrong display of Conquest modifiers and the issue with Competitive Division not resetting to 0. As for new game modes, Cutting Edge is available from now on. However, if you would like to check out the latest patch notes yourself, please visit the game's official website.
