Diablo Immortal continues to surprise. Activision Blizzard's financial report has revealed that the mobile Diablo has „lured” a lot of new players who have had no previous experience with either the series or Blizzard's creations in general.

Situation of Diablo Immortal can be summed up by the statement "it doesn't matter how they talk - it matters that they do." Activision Blizzard's yesterday financial report contains an interesting note:

"More than half of the game's existing accounts are new Blizzard customers."

This means that the hype that has arisen around Diablo Immortal (largely related to microtransactions), brought the company not only incredible revenues, but also a number of completely new customers - i.e. those who had no previous experience with either the Diablo series or with Blizzard's works in general.

Moreover, taking into account that this mobile game hit the fertile ground of gatcha genre and is being dynamically developed, we can expect that a large part of the acquired players will stick with DI.

This assumption is only reinforced by the recent news, regarding the fact that the game has been downloaded 30 million times, 10 million of which came in a one week.
