Don't Count on She-Hulk Season 2 From Disney Plus
Tatiana Maslany revealed what the chances are for a second season of She-Hulk. There has been no news on the subject for a year and a half, and the actress suspects what the future holds for her character.
Tatiana Maslany's short response could be enough to assess the likelihood of Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, making a comeback on screen. The heroine got her own series in 2022 and since its conclusion, no information has been revealed that would hint at the possible future of the character. During the Codenames LIVE! - The New Class stream on January 15, Maslany revealed her thoughts about this topic (vide The Direct).
According to the actress, the budget was decisive. The creators of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law were set to receive $225 million for the entire series, a sum that Tatiana Maslany believes wasn't put to good use and casts doubt on the future of the show.

Tatiana Maslany: I don't think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, "No thanks."
After the series premiered in August 2022, showrunner Jessica Gao mentioned in an interview that she had an immediate idea for the next series, but the future is always uncertain, so even one season should appear as a complete story. It turns out that she did the right thing because there is no indication that She-Hulk will appear again.
Tatiana Maslany's reaction implies that even Disney wasn't pleased with the final result achieved by the creators. The series received a critical review from fans, who highlighted the inconsistent storyline and the low quality of special effects. The series received a positive rating from only 32% of viewers on Rotten Tomatoes, and such a poor reception may have influenced the decision to not greenlight a sequel.
