Don’t miss The Slithering Dead quest in PoE 2. Each Venom Draught is very useful

While Path of Exile 2 may not be fully completed, it already features a vast array of activities. Although the game lacks traditional difficulty settings, it offers plenty of replayability through its unique system and diverse class options. You'll be able to rerun all available acts to face more challenging encounters and finish side quests you missed the first time, like The Slithering Dead in Act 3, which has different rewards to choose from.

All Venom Draughts from The Slithering Dead quest in PoE 2

The Venom Crypts in Act 3 of Path of Exile 2 are an excellent farming spot, packed with rare and magic chests. Additionally, it features The Slithering Dead quest, where Servi tasks you with exploring the crypts to retrieve Corpse-snake Venom. Once you find it, return to Servi and present the venom vial you discovered. She will then offer you a choice of six unique rewards:

1. Venom Draught of the Marshes – Grants 15% reduced slowing potency of Debuffs on you.
2. Venom Draught of Clarity – Grants 25% increased Mana Regeneration Rate.
3. Venom Draught of the Lost – Grants +10% to Chaos Resistance.
4. Venom Draught of Stone – Grants 25% increased Stun Threshold.
5. Venom Draught of the Veil – Grants 30% increased Elemental Ailment Threshold.
6. Venom Draught of the Sky – Grants +5 to all Attributes.

While the decision can be tough, as each potion offers valuable benefits, don’t delay your choice. The Venom Crypts will eventually become inaccessible, and you won’t be able to claim your reward.

If you’ve already missed this opportunity, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bug (unlike Undamaged Core or boss fight with Mektul the Forgemaster), it might simply be due to story progression.
