Dragon Age 4 Unlikely to Appear at The Game Awards 2021

Yesterday was the Dragon Age Day. In addition to the annual charity fundraiser, contests, and many other fun events, we also learned a bit about Dragon Age 4.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. On December 4, as part of Dragon Age Day, fans of the series could take part in a number of events organized by BioWare;
  2. Additionally, the devs also informed that next year we can expect more details about Dragon Age 4.

Yesterday was Dragon Age Day, during which fans of the series could participate in many activities organized by BioWare. We also received a small dose of information about Dragon Age 4.

The fourth installment of the series, which remains in development, was announced three years ago during The Game Awards 2018 event. As we well know, this year's TGA is almost here (it will take place on December 9), so some gamers are hoping for new news regarding the work on DA4 - however, it's unlikely they'll get it.

"Speaking of building new worlds and stories for you to explore, we want to let you all know that we're still hard at work on building the next single-player focused experience for Dragon Age. We're excited for next year when we can talk more about what we're working on," we read in the message posted on Dragon Age's website.

Of course, this could be a feint, and Dragon Age 4 will appear on The Game Awards 2021 anyway, but it's better not to expect too much (the more, that rumors talk about the release of DA4 in 2023). What we can enjoy is the reconfirmation of the single-player nature of the game, which some time ago was not at all certaint.

In terms of the new Dragon Age, we should also remember about the events that took place quite recently. It's about the departure of the senior creative director of the series from BioWare.
