New Gran Turismo 7 Gameplay and PS3 Comparison

A new gameplay video from Gran Turismo 7 has been uploaded to the web, showing a drive-through of a track appearing in the previous Gran Turismo 7 games, and providing a visual comparison with the PlayStation 3 version.

Polyphony Digital and Sony have released new gameplay from Gran Turismo 7, the next installment one of the most popular racing game series.

The gameplay recording is two minutes long, and shows a drive through the Deep Forest Raceway. This is a classic track that was first introduced in the first installment of Gran Turismo in 1998. Various versions of this track have appeared in all subsequent Gran Turismo games with the exception of Gran Turismo Sport.

The demonstration of this track in the gameplay makes it easy to compare the graphics of Gran Turismo 7 with previous installments of the series.

This is what the MotoGamesTV channel has prepared. It shows a comparison of driving through Deep Forest Raceway in GT7 and Gran Turismo 6 on PlayStation 3. Both games are separated by over eight years and two console generations (the new gameplay was shot on PlayStation 5), so the differences are huge. On PS5 the track has significantly more detail and more advanced lighting.

Gran Turismo 7 is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The release is scheduled for March 4, 2022.
