Dune: Spice Wars Launches in Early Access

Today we finally get to play Dune: Spice Wars, a new strategy game from Shiro Games.

Expectations for the game are high. For over two decades fans of Dune were looking forward to a new production based on this brand.

1. The early version of the game will debut today on Steam Early Access.
2. The game will be unlocked around 7 am PT.
3. The game will spend 9-12 months in Early Access, but this period may be extended if necessary.
4. We do not know the price of Dune: Spice Wars yet, but we know that the game will be cheaper in early access. With the release of version 1.0 the price will be raised.

Dune: Spice Wars - development plans

The version that will debut on Steam Early Access today is supposed to have all the basic gameplay mechanics, but during early access it is expected to receive many new elements, including:

1. Multiplayer mode
2. Story campaign
3. Fifth playable faction
4. New gameplay mechanics, technologies and spy missions.

Dune: Spice Wars will also be available on the GeForce Now streaming service. The authors are currently developing the game exclusively for PC, but have stated that they will consider console versions in the future.
