Techland wants to make Dying Light a really strong brand. DL2 developers have made suggestions for new game modes, and are asking players to send in ideas for further development of the game.
Techland recently rolled out the Dying Light 2: Stay Human update titled Good Night, Good Luck, which makes the night much harder to survive. Now the developers want to hear the player feedback, and are encouraging the community to suggest their own ideas for further development of the game.
Good Night, Good Luck was released on June 29 and brought a higher number of infected at night, which also became darker. The update also expanded parkour, and added maps created by fans.
A few days after the introduction of the fresh content, Techland wants to find out what the players think about the novelties. To this end, the Polish studio has prepared a survey, which takes 5-10 minutes to complete.
Developers of Dying Light 2 are interested not only in opinions about the latest update, however. They also want to know player ideas for further development of the title. Those interested can send their concepts to the developers via a form posted on the game's website. After analyzing them, the developers will present the most interesting ones and let fans choose which ones will eventually be included in the game.

Techland really has a lot of ideas for Dying Light 2 - there are so many that the players themselves have to help the developer make some decisions. Tymon Smektala, chief brand developer and director of Dying Light, created a separate poll on his Twitter profile, in which he asked the followers, what mode should be introduced into DL2 first. However, he noted that the poll is only to test the level of interest for now.
Techland has prepared proposals for four modes.
The voting period has about 6 hours left (at the time of writing). So far, more than five thousand people have participated. Currently, the most popular mode is Survival, which has gathered about 50% of the votes.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human can be played on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and, as of December, Nintendo Switch. The game hit the market in February 2022 and is still quite popular. On Steam the game has nearly 110,000 reviews, 79% of which are positive. The highest number of simultaneous DL2 players (via SteamDB) on the platform was recorded a year and a half ago - at that time there were 274,983 concurrent users in the game.
