TechlandGG Community Center Lets Us Earn Rewards From Dying Light 2

Today, Dying Light 2 developers revealed TechlandGG, a new version of the community hub for their games, which will enable us to earn related special rewards.

Dying Light 2 is set for release on December 7, 2021, so Techland is intent on keeping us interested in their new game. One sign of the company's marketing activity is the refreshed version of the community center for their titles, which launches today. TechlandGG (an abbreviation for "gamers" and "goodies"), as it is referred to, will provide access to exclusive content, which will enable us to delve deeper not only into the universe of Dying Light, but also company's other games, such as Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.

The rules are simple - we create an account on TechlandGG, and then link it with our profile on Steam, PlayStation Network and/or Xbox Live (they can be combined). The next step will be a bit more difficult, because we have to follow the video materials provided by the company (e.g. on its channel on YouTube) and look for hidden codes in them. These, in turn, we will exchange at the Quartermaster in Dying Light for prizes, among which there are to be 'unique, powerful items' (marked in the game as rare - blue, unique - purple and legendary - orange).

However, this is not the end of attractions, because on our TechlandGG account we'll be able to gain experience levels which will bring us not only new items but also digital goodies in the form of wallpapers, concept art and fragments of the soundtrack (OST). Points needed to unlock higher and higher ranks will also be gained by following the developers' materials and performing daily tasks. Other sources of them, such as a subscription to Techland's newsletter, are to be added 'soon'. In addition, you can already start collecting the six pieces of an exclusive outfit for Aiden Caldwell, the main protagonist of Dying Light 2.

So is it worth following the developers on Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube? Answer this question for yourselves. I will only add that their new game will be released on PC, XONE, XSX|S, PS4 and PS5. The title is expected to take up relatively little disk space, as well as provide cross-play and ray tracing support. It will also feature microtransactions.
