EA Sports has a FIFA 18 demo and PC requirements for you

Fans will get to try FIFA 18 out later today thanks to a demo that EA Sports has prepared. PC players can also check if their hardware meets the system requirements.

There are only a couple of weeks until FIFA 18 hits the shelves on September 29, 2017. Before that happens, you can try out the next installment in the popular soccer simulator series thanks to the demo that’s going to go live later today for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The demo will let fans play the Kick Off mode with 12 clubs and 4 stadiums – a small portion of what the full game has to offer.

The demo also offers a preview of the story mode The Journey: Hunter Returns, which is going to continue Alex Hunter’s story, whom fans got to meet in FIFA 17. The young soccer star is coming back for another season, and this time he’s going to play along such celebrities as Christiano Ronaldo, Antoine Grezmann, Thierry Henry, and others.

EA Sports has also shared FIFA 18 PC system requirements for both DirectX 12 and 11.

Minimum system requirements for DirectX 12

  1. OS: Windows 10 - 64-Bit
  2. CPU: Intel i3 6300T or equivalent benchmark (5,199) - Intel i3 4340 (5,226), and Intel i3 4350 (5,302) as alternatives.
  3. AMD equivalent is AMD Athlon X4 870K (5,219) - AMD FX-4350 (5,272) and FX-4330 (5,297) as alternatives.
  4. RAM: 8GB
  5. Hard Drive Space Required: 50.0 GB
  6. Minimum Supported Video Cards: NVidia GeForce GTX 660 (4,116) 2GB or equivalent; AMD equivalent is Radeon RX 460 (4,218)/R9 270 (4,258)/R7 370 (4,258)
