Electronic Arts likes to keep racing game enthusiasts in suspense. That year we have long awaited the official announcement (and release) of Need for Speed Unbound, and now the same is happening with the new rally simulator from Codemasters.

Fortunately, one of the industry's top insiders, billbil-kun, keeps his ear close and regularly shares with us behind-the-scenes news about the project. Now he informs, that the game was to be rebranded as EA Sports WRC, and its debut will supposedly be on November 3 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.

Those who choose to preorder the more expensive Champions Edition will be offered early access from October 31. EA Play Pro subscribers will also play on the same day. A 10-hour trial version is to be available as part of "regular" EA Play service from November 3.

Reports on the price of the game are interesting. The PC release is expected to cost a mere $49.99. - surprisingly little for a AAA game from Electronic Arts. For comparison: F1 23 cost $20 more on launch day on Steam. The prices of console editions have not been reported, but it should be expected that they will be noticeably more expensive.

Finally, a little trivia - billbil-kun also revealed that he had a chance to see the game's cover and it showed Ford Puma Rally1 (representative of the top hybrid car class, which participates in the competition from the 2022 season) on the route of the snowy Rally of Sweden.
