Elden Ring has received update 1.09, and with it ray tracing support on PC, PS5 and XSX (and high system requirements for this feature on PC).
Ray tracing has come to Elden Ring along with new update. Patch 1.09 is available for download on all platforms (PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, XSX/S), but, of course, only PC gamers and owners of 9th-gen consoles (excluding Xbox Series S) can enjoy the introduction of this option. The feature can be enabled in the game settings (on consoles) or graphic settings (on PC).
There is only one problem: Bandai Namco recommends a very powerful PC if you want to use ray tracing. Full system requirements can be found below, but suffice it to mention that the absolute minimum is to be a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or a Radeon RX 6700 XT, if we want to play at 1080p resolution on low graphics settings and ray tracing.
In addition to ray tracing, patch 1.09 is primarily a long list of gameplay balance fixes for competitive gameplay (including the addition of invulnerability to damage after being resurrected in the coliseum). In addition, more bugs have been removed from the game. The full list of changes can be found on the Elden Ring's official website.
