Epic Games Store's Two-week Giveaway Begins Today; Possible List Leaked

Today, a Holiday special offer will be launched at Epic Games Store, where a full version of different game will be distributed daily for the next two weeks. Rumors about games that will be offered appeared from some time, but a list that eventually surfaced seems a little out of touch with reality.

Today, a special Holiday giveaway will launch on Epic Games Store, where we'll receive the full version of one game for free every day for fifteen consecutive days. The first one will be available at 5 PM CET / 8 AM PT.

For the time being, we don't know what games will be offered. However, a few days ago, a list appeared on the web, which allegedly reveals this information. Its source is a little known Twitter account, so the report should be approached with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, it is worth quoting it.

The alleged list of games that will be given away by Epic Games Store (with original spelling):

Day:

Free game:

December 17

Dying Light

December 18

Resident Evil 7

December 19

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

December 20

Mass Effect: Andromeda

December 21

Assassins Creed Origins

December 22

Metal Gear Solid V

December 23

Evil Within 2

December 24

Far Cry 5

December 25

Fallout 4

December 26

Borderlands 3

December 27

Monster Hunter: World

December 28

Dragon Age: Inquisition

December 29

Horizon Zero Down

December 30

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

December 31

Hitman 2

The list seems a little too good to be true. On the other hand, each game will only be available for free for one day, which may have helped Epic Games to convince publishers to include their productions.

After these reports came to light, some players pointed out that many of these games are not available on Epic Games Store at all. However, this is not an obstacle. In the case of Watch Dogs 2 the went into the store on the day its giveaway started.

If the game to appear today will indeed be Dying Light, we may start taking the list a bit more seriously. When the promotion starts, we'll update this message. It's also worth noting that a Holiday sale will launch on Epic Games Store at the same time.
