Hanover Event in ETS2 Launches

Euro Truck Simulator 2 has launched an event with the great Hanover transport fair in the background, thanks to which we will decorate the cab of our virtual vehicle with new trinkets.

Upcoming IAA Transportation 2022 trade show (September 20-25) in Hannover is unlikely to be a cause for celebration for gamers. Unless you're talking about fans of the Truck Simulator series, because SCS Software has prepared for them an event in Euro Truck Simulator 2 under the name Destination Hannover.

From today until September 26, players will be able to deliver in-game goods needed for this year's IAA Transportation show. This includes a new task where virtual drivers can go to Krone's Werlte factory to transport the manufacturer's new trailer.

What is important, the event does not require the ownership of the Krone Trailer DLC - it is enough that we have the basic version of ETS2 and an integrated World of Trucks platform account.

During the event, players will have to complete seven orders with deliveries to the Hannover Messe trade fair, including at least one related to the aforementioned Krone factory. Each of them must also require driving no less than 200 kilometers on virtual roads.

For their efforts the players will receive a special achievement on the World of Trucks platform, as well as three unique cosmetic items for the driver's cab (and Steam inventory): a mug, a hologram and a "very cool looking" lunch box.
