SCS Software studio unveiled controller improvements that will soon be included in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator games.
SCS Software announced that update 1.51 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will bring major improvements to pad controls.
These changes will be so significant that players who have heavily modified control settings through the Steam controller configuration interface and moved them from the default settings, may find after installing the update that their custom configurations have been reset to the default settings.
The devs mention in a blog post explaining these plans that the changes will also open the way for their exciting future projects. Some players believe that this might be about converting both games to consoles. They are currently available exclusively on PCs - Euro Truck Simulator 2 was released in 2012, and American Truck Simulator in 2016.
Both games are being intensively developed all the time. ATS will get the Arkansas expansion next week, with Iowa and Missouri on the way. Meanwhile, fans of ETS2 are on the lookout for Greece and Nordic Horizons expansions.
