We know when exactly the next major expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 will debut, and the developers have also released a new trailer for the West Balkans DLC.
SCS Software has announced the latest major paid DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 in June last year. Promptly, fans of this truck simulator had to wait a long time for the developers to reveal an exact release date of West Balkans. Developers have informed, that the expansion will debut on October 19.
In connection with the announcement of the release date, SCS Software's YouTube channel featured a video (below), in which we can admire the landscapes of the Western Balkans. The material shows beautiful towns surrounded by forests and mountains, as well as winding roads over cliffs, characteristic of this region of Europe. There is also no shortage of tunnels, to which the developers have devoted special attention in the DLC.
In Euro Truck Simulator 2: West Balkans we will be able to explore the areas in the western part of the Old Continent, namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. Below you can take a look at the map provided by the developers, which marks the cities included in the expansion.
In addition, West Balkans will add many new industrial plants or border crossings. There will also be no shortage of landmarks in the Balkans, including these religious.
It is worth recalling that this is a nonstandalone DLC, which is why it requires the base game to function. We do not yet know exactly how much we will pay for the expansion, but the price will most likely be similar to that for other expansions offering sizable new regions, which cost around $15.
