ETS2's New DLC Lets Us Explore the Beautiful Balkans

SCS Software has announced another expansion for the popular truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2. This time we will explore the Western Balkans.

Despite the fact that Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been around for almost 10 years now, the game's creators don't stop pampering the fans of huge trucks. Several days ago we wrote about the fact that the studio decided that the Heart of Russia will not appear on the market while the war in Ukraine continues. Instead, SCS has prepared a nice surprise for virtual truckers. A trailer for the next DLC has hit the web. It's titled West Balkans and you can watch the video below.

They sure have the momentum...

On the official blog of the Czech studio there is a note on the territory, on which the new expansion will focus. Fans of the simulator will have to fill up their trailers full as they will have to visit Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia..

SCS also informed that preliminary work on the project began over a year ago. In recent months, however, the entire team responsible for the next expansion has picked up the pace in order to be able to release a fully functional DLC to the ton of fans as soon as possible..

When will it launch?

It is worth mentioning that West Balkans expansion, just like the previous ones, will be a non-standalone DLC and therefore will require the base game. So far we do not know the official release date, but we can assume that West Balkans will be released this year on Steam and physical media.

Considering the footage shared by SCS, you have to admit that the company has really nailed the quality and reproduction of these charming lands.
