Today’s Nintendo Direct packed a lot of exciting announcements into the roughly 40 minutes of content, from The Legend of Zelda to Resident Evil, here is everything that was announced.

Today’s Nintendo Direct was over half an hour of announcements covering games releasing on the Nintendo Switch later today up to next spring. One of the biggest highlights, of course, was the announcement of the Breath of the Wild sequel, which revealed the name of the game and the release date. Finally, it can stop being referred to as simply the Breath of the Wild sequel. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases on May 12th, 2023. For our full article click here.
Other highlights included a new Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem Engage planned for release in January along with the announcement of Octopath Traveler 2 for release in February 2023. The long-awaited Pikmin 4 was also announced to arrive on the Switch sometime next year. NSO Expansion Pack subscribers will be excited to hear about the nine games announced to be added to the Nintendo 64 collection through next year that includes Mario Party, Pokémon Stadium, and Goldeneye.
Additionally, four Resident Evil games will arrive on the Switch in their Cloud Versions, including Resident Evil Village. Also, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Kirby series, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will be a remaster of the original, releasing in February.
