Facebook Adds Private Space for Couples and Tournaments for Gamers

Facebook is increasingly developing its offer for gamers, presenting the tournament wizard. In addition, the App Store has a new communicator for couples.

Users have been given prior access to the Tournaments due to the quarantine.
IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Facebook has created the Tuned application for couples;
  2. It is only available on iOS in the USA and Canada;
  3. A wizard of e-sports tournaments appeared on the service.

More and more streamers are moving with their activities to Facebook. Therefore, the platform tries to develop the Facebook Gaming tab. The company has been working on a gaming tournament wizard for a long time. Due to the fact that many people are forced to sit at home, Facebook decided to grant users earlier access to the new service.

However, this is not the end of Facebook's new feeatures. The company decided to release another communicator, this time for couples. Tuned, because that's what the app is called, offers classic options - chat, voice/video chat, and media sharing. The novelty is, for example, a schedule of joint plans, synchronized for both sides. A similar function (notification settings with a selected person in chat) was once included in Messenger, but it was removed in one of the updates.

Tuned is available on the App Store, only for users from the United States and Canada. If the app is accepted, Facebook will make it available in other countries.
