Fallout Worlds Will Transform Fallout 76

Fallout 76 will support dedicated servers. Fallout Worlds will enable players to freely customize the conditions and rules on them.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Fallout 76 will offer the ability to set up dedicated servers, which have been dubbed Fallout Worlds;
  • They will enable us to modify the rules of the game;
  • Only subscribers will be able to set up their own servers. The rest of players will use the servers set up by the developers.

Fallout 76 will soon receive another feature that players have been anticipating. We're talking about dedicated servers, which have been dubbed Fallout Worlds. They will enable the host to change the rules governing the gameplay. Bethesda announced that they will appear in two variants. The first are the Public Worlds, managed by the developers. The second are Custom Worlds, which will enable players to change the gameplay settings themselves.

Servers of this type will allow for a radical transformation of gameplay through manipulation of many factors. Players will be able to change the limits of land available for construction, modify enemy stats, or play around with physics. This will enable us to create worlds governed by completely different laws. The game will also enable the players to change the terrain to areas that require constant struggle for survival or, on the contrary, locations that are perfect for peaceful settlement expansion.

Fallout Worlds will debut in the game in two variants

Players who don't like fiddling with the settings but would still like to experience a different gameplay experience will be able to take advantage of the aforementioned Public Worlds. These will be temporarily available servers, whose rules will be set by the developers themselves. Every now and then they will be replaced by new configurations that will offer different settings. Thanks to this we will experience the whole spectrum of possibilities offered by the new tools.

Unfortunately the announcement has one catch. Dedicated private servers will be available only to Fallout 1st subscribers. Public Worlds, described earlier, are an exception. Players who would like to check out the new mode for free can use the servers designed by the developers.

The new feature is available on test servers right now. For a full-fledged introduction of both modes to the game we have to wait until September. At the same time Bethesda revealed that this is not the last step in the process of enabling players to customize Fallout 76 to their own needs. In the coming weeks, we will probably learn even more about how to configure the game.
